If you want to sum up this whole PG-13 farce then this video easily does it for you.  Kudos to Mike Frenchy (@theactionmovieartist) for putting this together.

I’m not sure how Stallone cannot process in his mind that this is how most fans would feel about this.  Not just hardcore fans but casuals alike.  Take a look around the internet, it’s completely negative and even those with a residual interest can see how contradictive this move is.

Some say it’s a publicity stunt but I don’t think soccer moms would be happy to be told it’s fine for their kids one month, then on release become aware that they can’t take their kids into what’s now an R-Rated movie or worse, their kids went to see one after a senseless swerve job by Stallone/Lerner.  Not to mention alienating your own hardcore fanbase.
