Bad Boys 3 Update

Bad Boys 3 is happening, we’ve all known and expected that for a while.  Time for an update, courtesy of Matin Lawrence on the Conan show.

“I believe so. Yes. I just talked to Jerry Bruckheimer yesterday and he said its real, they’re working on the script, they’re getting close and it all looks good.”

Bad Boys 3 is actually one of three Jerry Bruckheimer movies at Paramount.  Beverly Hills Cop IV, Top Gun 2 being the others.  Beverly Hills Cop IV will be the first and there is no speculation about that.  It’ll be rated R, confirmed multiple times and in fact it seems that Brett Ratner and Bruckheimer are actually using that as a selling point.  The question is how quickly Bad Boys 3 will come and who will direct.

Do we want Michael Bay to return?  Has he burned up stock with action fans or should Bay return to his mid-90s ways?
