Donnie Yen Wants All-Chinese Expendables

Here is a new video/interview with martial arts legend Donnie Yen where he discusses upcoming beat ’em up thriller Kung Fu Jungle.  What is interesting is that he also says that he considers an all Chinese Expendables a good idea and that he’d be willing to do it.  China is an emerging market, to say the least, almost like ‘the blob’ in many sectors, wouldn’t suprise me to see such a thing happening.

Here’s the plot for Kung Fu Jungle: “A martial arts instructor (Donnie Yen) working at a police academy gets imprisoned after killing a man by accident. But when a vicious killer (Wang Baoqiang) starts targeting martial arts masters, the instructor offers to help the police in return for his freedom.”
