Seagal In $25 Million Movie

How many movies can one man make?  Maybe Steven Seagal can answer that and break some type of record.  He has signed on for ‘Cypher’, which seems to have a larger than normal budget for the Sensei.  Variety reports $25 million, with the movie even appearing at the AFM.  Might want to hold off on that optimism though, check out the following piece of text…

“Seagal will portray a special forces operative who — frustrated with the bureaucracy of war — goes rogue and tries to exterminate terrorists being protected by the government.

Seagal has written the script. No director is attached.”

Apparently Seagal will be aiming for a career resurgence with this project.  I suppose moving away from Keoni Waxman is a start…
