Tom Hardy Looks Like The Old Max In New Cover

Two collector’s edition Empire Magazine covers (magazine do this all the time now, release two ‘covers’ to boost sales, it seems every month is a collector’s edition) will debut for their February edition, featuring Tom Hardy as Mad Max.

I noticed in the first one, Hardy is looking closer to the Max from the first two movies.  He also seems to have lost weight from filming which suggests this is possibly a recent shoot, or from the additional filming process from December 2013.

I do have to say that that is a minor disappointment of mine, Hardy’s Max is bulky as fuck, even though Hardy said he was going for the ‘feral’ look that would be custom in a post-apocalyptic world.  But scheduling was probably the cause of that…
