Liam Hemsworth In Independence Day 2?

The Expendables  2 actor Liam Hemsworth has reportedly been offered a starring role in the “Independence Day” sequel at 20th Century Fox.

Carter Blanchard recently signed on to rewrite the original script by James Vanderbilt (“White House Down”), and no details have been revealed as yet regarding the story or the characters, other than the confirmation that Will Smith will not return.

Michael B. Jordan, Jeff Goldblum, Randy Quaid and Bill Pullman are all rumored for roles in the project with the latter three reprising their parts from the 1996 film.

The new “Independence Day” film hits cinemas on June 24th 2016.
