First Artwork For Furious 8 (2017)

The tyres on Furious 7 have barely cooled down, hell the movie hasn’t even been released on DVD/Blu-Ray yet, and main star Vin Diesel is already hyping the next movie.

Diesel, 47, hinted that the eighth installment of the movie would take place in New York, reported Aceshowbiz. “Kurt Russell came in for this movie. But we really hired him because of a story that follows this that takes place in New York,” revealed the actor.

The new poster he shared features New York City skyline in the backdrop. The poster has a new logo with a tagline saying ‘Summer 2017.’ It has already been confirmed that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will reprise his role as Luke Hobbs in the ‘Furious 7’ sequel.

James Wan is reportedly eyed to return as director for the eighth instalment of the movie franchise. The movie is scheduled to be released in the US on April 14, 2017.
