[VIDEO] Van Damme Appears In Chinese Superhero Movie

Above is a little featurette for an up and coming Jean Claude Van Damme movie, set and based in China.  Jian Bing Man is a superhero movie with a difference, they say, with Jean Claude Van Damme co-starring alongside Da Peng (also directing).

According to TB, Jian Bing Man is the story of a young man from a poor family earns his living selling jianbing (or Chinese pancake) and suddenly becomes a hero, presumably because he sells the best Chinese crepes in town.

This film will have a domestic release in China in mid-July.  This is a good look for Van Damme, pity he wouldn’t use this style more often.  It makes him look younger.  Updated:  you can catch the trailer for this movie here, no sign of JCVD.  A cameo we suppose (thanks to Sergei).
