Stallone Wants Cliffhanger Sequel

Sylvester Stallone says he has moved on from Twitter to post more on Instagram.  Funnily enough, there on Instagram he has given a little update, posting a nice rare publicity shot of himself from the Cliffhanger set stating that he’d like to do a sequel to that movie.

This isn’t the first time talk of a Cliffhanger sequel has come up.  The idea for it previously was Cliffhanger: The Dam.  After the success of manly movie Rambo IV, Stallone went straight to Sony Pictures, to strike while the iron was hot, to try and convince them to shoot a movie sequel to Cliffhanger.  Another heist movie if I recall.

Obviously that didn’t pan out.  But you have to wonder, even though Stallone is only musing here, could they guy actually manage such a brutal shoot, now at his age?  Real stunts, real gravity?

This is one movie I would love to do a sequel to. Even though it was probably the most dangerous. movie I’ve ever worked o!!! no faking with gravity!
