5) The Road Warriors/The Road Warrior
Over the years professional wrestling has ‘borrowed’ from famous movie franchises and many times quite blatantly. Sometimes you wonder how they avoided being sued.
The first example on this list is the appearance of The Road Warriors (AKA The Legion of Doom, a back-up name in case Warners came calling?!) Road Warrior Hawk and Road Warrior Animal quite obviously took notes from the book of Road Warrior Vernon Wells. Well, who can blame them. It was one of the best action movies ever.
They turned out to be a hugely popular tag team too.
