John Milius-Penned Video Game Sequel Footage
A few years back John Milius wrote the story for Homefront, a video game. Initially John wrote it as a spiritual remake of Red Dawn, with the Chinese replacing the Soviets. However like the 2012 movie of the same name (Red Dawn), his concept fell victim to political correctness/pressure from our Chinese overlords and the baddies were changed to North Koreans.
Homefront received mostly positive reviews and to me it was a nice change of pace from Call of Duty which had become stagnant.
Now there’s a sequel coming to Milius’ original concept, Homefront: The Revolution. A pertinent point to make though, Milius was not involved with this one. Below is the first footage.
