Here’s Your Latest Expendables 4 Filming Rumour

I put up a note here a while ago that there was a rumour that The Expendables 4 was going to shoot in Colombia, following the footsteps of Tom Cruise’s ’80s drug thriller Mena.  Indeed, such things should be taken with a grain of salt.  Especially since that source claimed that ‘scenes’ would film in November, which is kinda close.  The same article was updated with a DailyMail note that Arnold Schwarzenegger was meeting a producer at the same time to discuss the movie.

Anyway, here’s another rumour and again, digest with caution.  Although to be honest this one is a bit more realistic on paper.  Xinhua is stating that the movie will actually begin filming mid 2016, although it does not mention much beyond that.

I hear stuff like this literally almost every week, but the reason I’m putting this one up is because Xinhua is an exceptionally large site, its global Alexa rank is a staggering 74.  So I don’t know, when they claim that Bulgarian insiders are boasting to them of an Expendables 4 mid-2016 start date, maybe it’s 50/50.  The flip side to that is… more Bulgaria, despite Sylvester Stallone claiming the series is done filming there.

Then again, perhaps they’re planning a split shoot?  Oh, and to the powers that be, take note…
