Ridley Scott Says Prometheus 2 Will Have Explanations

Ridley Scott is currently knocking it out of the park with “The Martian” and he is using the exposure to reveal that the sequel to “Prometheus” will pick up where the original left off.

“It starts off with a very grand idea – or a grand question, really”, Scott tells Collider. “Who are they and why did they create such evil biology and bacteriology.  And [in creating], to protect themselves from what? So the questions are answered there, or rather, beginning to be answered in Prometheus 2”.

Scott’s follow up to Prometheus is not the only new “Alien” movie on the horizon, there is Neill Blomkamp’s “Alien 5” to look forward to, along with another game from the “Isolation” series.  Good time to be an Alien fan.
