Bad News For Aliens Sequel

Some people who dislike Alien3 (I’m not one of them) have been waiting a long time for this, a sequel to Aliens.  30 years next year in fact.  Well it appears that Neill Blomkamp’s tentative replacement for Alien3 has been postponed and that that wait may be a little longer.

alien is kinda holding/ pending prometheus 2. So I shall be working on other things… as much as I love the xeno- and Lt ripley

Since Alien: Paradise Lost films in January, I guess the wait could be way off. But a negative point here is that the film now appears to be riding on the success of Paradise Lost.  If that movie bombs, the new sequel to Aliens might be cancelled.  If the movie is a success, certain suits at Fox might simply prefer another Prometheus movie, with Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace instead of Michael Biehn and Sigourney Weaver.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
