Script For Predator Sequel Completed

Last summer it was announced that director Shane Black and his co-writer Fred Dekker were working on an ‘inventive sequel’ to 20th Century Fox’s Predator. Now, Dekker has revealed on his Facebook that the script for the film has been completed and turned in.

 Details on the film are currently under wraps but producer John Davis previously told Collider: ‘The writing is so fresh, the perspective is so fresh. I’m telling you you’re going to get something you don’t expect and you’re going to say, ‘This is the most entertaining way to reinvent a franchise.’
Around the same time Shane Black said that he was ‘not at liberty to say‘ whether or not the new Predator movie would feature a female Predator.  Is that what the ‘fresh perspective’ is?  Suddenly I get a vision of The Lost World: Jurassic Park, with a protagonist T-Rex looking for her baby.
