Leatherface Will Join The ‘Alien’ In Mortal Kombat X

As if manly man Carl Weathers’ presence wasn’t enough reason to pick up Mortal Kombat X then you might find it a bit more interesting to find out that the next additions are set to be the ‘Alien’ and Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series.

Although to be fair, I’m not a fan of this kind of thing from a gaming perspective.  It seems a bit cynical that DLC continues to grow with less and less content being shipped on the actual disc, with developers and publishers wanting you to pay for more and more after the initial purchase has been completed.  While this is interesting too, isn’t movie novelties a gimmick?
