Kickboxer: Retaliation Already In Pre-Production

Kickboxer: Vengeance is not even out yet, but already they’re moving forward with the sequel, Kickboxer: Retaliation.  That’s good news, either way you look at it.

Our House Films in association with Acme Rocket Fuel has announced that Hafthor Julius Björnsson (aka The Mountain from “Game of Thrones”) will be the Kickboxer’s next formidable foe. The film, which will be directed by its co-writer and producer Dimitri Logothetis, will have Alain Moussi and Jean-Claude Van Damme, among others, reprising their roles as they match against a syndicate of criminals.

“The response we have garnered for the first film, before its release, has been staggering, and we are excited to continue the franchise with the Mountain himself added to the cast,” says Kickboxer franchise producer, Rob Hickman.

Shit, maybe this film will be really good.  Also, here’s the teaser poster for the sequel.
