Here’s The New Jack Ryan

Man, how many Jack Ryans have there been?  I think this guy, John Krasinski, may be the fifth.  But not on the movie screen.

According to Deadline Lindsey Springer, Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form will all executive produce a ‘Jack Ryan’ show for Amazon.

There’s no word yet on which of the Tom Clancy novels it will be drawn from but I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t based on any of them and simply went the ‘original’ route with perhaps some nods here and there.  I would expect a reasonably expensive looking TV show if Amazon’s ‘Man in the High Castle’ is anything to go by.
