Resident Evil Game Series Getting Reboot

The Resident Evil video games seemed to run in parallel with those horrible movies in more ways than one.  They seemed to stray way off course and into Michael Bay territory.  It has been a complaint for a while and now apparently CAPCOM may be getting serious with their property.

The E3 rumour mill has well and truly cranked into action. The very often correct industry insider Dr Serkan Toto has revealed on Twitter that Resident Evil 7 is apparently in development. He says “the the entire game will go back to RE’s horror roots and (essentially) be a clean slate.

Now all we need is the same treatment for the movies, and maybe with the final turd coming up, the slate will be wiped clean there too. After all, this is the last kind of reaction you should be getting from a survival horror zombie movie;
