Richard Dutcher Working On 2nd McTiernan Movie?

The likes of John McTiernan may very well be the best action director ever (and one of the best director’s ever whatsoever) but now that they’ve blacklisted him we’re going to see how well he’ll pull off a movie with lesser tools.

Now we know ‘Warbirds’ is still happening.  And it’s going to get rolling this summer in Russia.  It has also found its second unit director in Richard Dutcher.

But is Dutcher working on another movie too, for John McTiernan?  Here is what he has said on Facebook;

It’s almost midnight in Spain. Not quite 4 o’clock in the afternoon back in Mountain Standard Time. I’m sitting at my writing table on a wide private balcony looking out at the full moon as it hangs over a very calm Mediterranean Sea. Tomorrow I start writing a second screenplay with McTiernan. Four weeks in Barcelona and Paris. When this job is over, I may not want to leave.

Well it looks like things are progressing there without any interference, we hope at least…
