The Movie ‘Shooter’ Gets TV Series (Trailer)

Here’s another one to add to the ‘WTF, this is happening?’ list.  Looks like they’re not only doing a ‘Shooter’ TV series but apparently it’s already done and dusted and set to air.  Check out the trailer below.

Mark Wahlberg serves as executive producer on this new series alongside Stephen Levinson and Lorenzo di Bonaventura, while Ryan Phillippe steps into the lead role as an expert marksman living in exile who is coaxed back into action, only to be framed for murdering the President of the United States.

For those who have not checked out the original movie, I very much recommend it.  Same plot as above, cynical, a Bourne type movie.  And it features Danny Glover as… well, we shouldn’t spoil it.
