The Rock Welcomes Arnold’s Successor Title

Here’s another story about The Rock.  The guy seems to be touched by suggestions that he’s Arnold Schwarzenegger successor.  If you look below at his Instagram post, he cut out and sort of E-Framed an article by Deadline comparing him to Arnie.

In the late 80’s & 90’s, Arnold was the most powerful movie star on the planet. And when I first broke into Hollywood 15yrs ago, he welcomed me with open arms. Something I’ll never forget and will always appreciate.
Honored by the comparison and I look forward to workin’ hard and taking the “brass ring” to places it’s never been.

Well who wouldn’t be flattered?

However, I still feel The Rock needs one big ultra manly movie/franchise to really seal the deal.  I wonder if it could be The Predator, since both are rumoured to be in that movie.  Could this be the real passing of the torch?
