Predator 2K Restoration Trailer

There are two copies of Predator on Blu-Ray.  The original MPEG version which was, let’s face it, pretty poor.  Then the re-issue in 2010 which was even worse.  This second version was simply killed with DNR, the whole movie looked like it has wax smeared over it.

Oh and the movie was released on 3D on Blu-Ray too.  Trust me, that’s not worth buying either.  A post conversion job using the old print and a bad one at that.

So now the movie is finally getting a decent restoration it seems and above is the trailer for it.  This movie will be getting a limited released in France next month, August the 17th.  Those lucky French.

Not a bad trailer either, it’s hard to leave an impression with a ‘new’ trailer for a movie that all of us have seen 4,100 times.
