Some time ago The Rock spoke of controversy on the set of Fast & Furious 8. He was upset with another member of the cast and there was speculation on who that person could have been. It was quickly found to be Vin Diesel, who promised to tell his side of the story. However, being that this movie is released in April, right alongside WrestleMania 32, we smelled a rat.
Sure enough, the whole thing is apparently a work.
In the latest issue of Life & Style, an insider reveals that while there is some truth to the recent rivalry between Fast & Furious stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Vin Diesel, the beef is largely a publicity stunt to amp up drama for a WWE wrestling match — and to help promote the April 2017 release of Fast 8.
So obviously, that was easy to call. You wanna hear the next plans ahead of time? Vin Diesel is going to drive to the ring in a Dodge Charger, exit his vehicle and enter the ring wearing the biggest shoe lifts ever. Michael Cole, the worst play by play in history, will audibly fellate Toretto and hard sell that movie like he’s never hard sold before, as the soccer moms and children at ringside go wild. And I’m serious about those shoe lifts, sometimes it’s very important to appear taller and sneak in an extra four inches.
Mark it down, gents…
