Rambo Getting Reboot

Well I suppose it was only a matter of time before this happened.  Nu Image/Millennium Films have announced plans to reboot of the classic manly ‘Rambo’ franchise.

Brooks McLaren is going to write the script and Ariel Vromen (director of Criminal) will direct.

The movie will be titled Rambo: New Blood and will not feature Sylvester Stallone in any way.  A younger actor will now play Rambo, Sylvester Stallone once said he’d like to see Ryan Gosling in that role, but I think that’s doubtful.

So what do you think about this?  And your thoughts on Ariel Vromen?
