UPDATED: Mel Hacksaws Up The Box Office
UPDATED: Here’s an update on this, Mel’s masterpiece is now sitting at $150 million worldwide according to Variety. But the best part? This movie isn’t even out in several big markets yet. For instance the United Kingdom release is still a few weeks away.
Then there’s the home media release. Good movie makes big money!

So the new worldwide gross is over $100 Million (foreign box office totals haven’t been updated since last week so it should be much higher) and it still hasn’t opened in the UK and other big key markets yet. So lookin’ good!
Hacksaw has legged it out to $60,862,448 Domestic so far and it’ll likely end up at $65-67 M Domestic but if it gets Oscar noms, it’ll probably go up to $75-80 M. Not bad!
It should easily hit the $120M WW mark with more money coming in from China, and a UK release set for January.
