R.I.P. Miguel Ferrer – ManlyMovie

R.I.P. Miguel Ferrer

Gentlemen, it is a sad day as Bob Morton has left the building.  Actor Miguel Ferrer has passed away aged 61 after a battle with cancer.

Ferrer began acting in the early 1980s on such series as Magnum, P.I., CHiPS and Cagney & Lacey and features including Heartbreaker, The Man Who Wasn’t There and Star Trek: III: The Search for Spock. We would go on to focus mostly on TV throughout that decade before landing the role of FBI Agent Albert Rosenfeld on David Lynch’s Twin Peaks in 1990.

He is perhaps best known as the inventor of RoboCop, who he christened a bad motherfucker!  But he also had other later roles which were good too, such as The Manchurian Candidate and some nice 1990s action comedy roles such as Hot Shots! Part Deux and Another Stakeout.

R.I.P. Miguel Ferrer.
