Keanu Reeves Talks The Matrix 4

Keanu Reeves is out promoting the excellent John Wick: Chapter 2.  In a in a new interview with Yahoo UK, was asked about whether he’d be interested in returning to the Matrix franchise.  Here is what Reeves had to say;

“The Wachowskis would have to be involved. They would have to write it and direct it. And then we’d see what the story is, but yeah, I dunno, that’d be weird, but why not? People die, stories don’t, people in stories don’t.”

I would much, much prefer Reeves to film a Speed 3.  That could be really good, probably.  By the way, does anyone remember the sort of promo war between fans in 2002/2003 over which movie would be better, the third Matrix or Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines?  Back in the day, I remember defending Arnold’s manly honor against nerdlits on various discussion platforms.
