Jeepers Creepers 3 Is Sequel To 1st Movie

The original Jeepers Creepers movie was genuinely a good horror movie, most inventive definitely creepy.  I don’t know if anyone recalls anything about the sequel, but I don’t think it was as good.  In any case, the third movie that is in the can now, will be a direct sequel to the first.

According to Bloody-Disgusting;

Jeepers Creepers 3 is a direct sequel to the original film and will bridge into JC 2, while also most probably setting up the fourth film in which Trish (Phillips) will hunt down the Creeper in order to save her son.

I do find it interesting though that Victor Salva (director of the first two movies) was able helm such big projects despite already having been convicted as a pedophile.  Good old Hollywood, eh?
