The Most Notorious Arnold Call Of Them All – ManlyMovie

The Most Notorious Arnold Call Of Them All

Everyone has heard of Arnold Schwarzenegger prank calls.  They are telephone queries made to unsuspecting victims using well-timed soundboard clips from Arnold’s movies.  These calls first started in 1999 (although some say even as far back as the early ’90s).

The most prolific prankster was DouglasQuaid618, a person who pranked half of America with Arnold’s queries about Sarah Connor and the daddy’s of the victims.

In April 2012 however, Mr. Quaid took it a step too far when he decided to prank the fuck out of the police.  After pranking the cops over 240 times, they finally had enough and traced the call then sent some cars around to the suspect’s address.  What the fuck though, calling the cops 240 (!) times?!  And asking them who their daddies are?

Despite claiming to live in Miami (movie line), the caller address originated from Albuquerque.  When cops went to the address, they found that it had been spoofed.  Mr. Quaid then deleted his YouTube Channel and is still wanted by police to this day.

The story even made the news.  See this video (they’ve disabled embedding).

Transcript of the fated, final call;

  • Dispatcher: Hello, sir? Are you in need of the Albuquerque police?
  • Caller: Yeah.
  • Dispatcher: OK, what’s going on?
  • Caller: I don’t know.
  • Dispatcher: What do you mean what’s going on? You need police?
  • Caller: People are trying to kill me! Yes!
  • Dispatcher: We have Arnold Schwarzenegger on the line.
  • Dispatcher: Yeah. People are trying to kill me. It’s a line running from a movie.
  • Caller: Yeah, that’s right, what’s the matter?
  • Caller: Who is your daddy and what does he do?
  • Dispatcher: Uh, sir, this is the police department, I’m not here to socialize with you.
  • Caller: Why not?
  • Dispatcher: If you need the police, if you need the police I need to know what you need.
  • Caller: Arnold Schwarzenegger!
