Linda Hamilton Returning For The Real Terminator 3

Jim Cameron is not going to direct the next Terminator movie.  But he does seem to be getting more hands-on with the property.  Now, there’s going to be a new trilogy and it appears Linda Hamilton is going to return as Sarah Connor.

James Cameron made the announcement at a private event regarding the franchise, saying:

“As meaningful as she was to gender and action stars everywhere back then, it’s going to make a huge statement to have that seasoned warrior that she’s become return. There are 50-year-old, 60-year-old guys out there killing bad guys, but there isn’t an example of that for women.”

Some people might even jump the gun and say, but I thought she died!  Of course, Connor is still alive at the end of Terminator 2.  All of those sequels after that are bullshit.

Are we finally going to get a real Terminator 3?  Retcon time?
