Lionsgate Planning L.A. Confidential TV Series

Lionsgate Television (along with New Regency and CBS Television Studios) is set to produce TV adaptation of L.A. Confidential.  It’s not exactly a remake since the movie was also based on James Ellroy’s 1990 novel.

One again it will follow a trio of homicide detectives, a female reporter, and a Hollywood actress as their paths crossover in pursuit of a serial killer.

Jordan Harper will write and executive produce alongside Arnon Milchan.

If you have not seen the 1997 movie yet then it is highly recommended, a fine old noir thriller.
