McTiernan Wanted Keaton For 13th Warrior

We still haven’t got the John McTiernan Cut of The 13th Warrior, we probably never will.  But I still think the film is utterly amazing nonetheless.  Anyway, in the tweet below is some new trivia about the movie.

So John McTiernan now lives in Vancouver, wanted Michael Keaton for the 13thW and is a fan of Game of Thrones. Thank you, Laure Marsac!

Thanks to the always reliable John McTiernan Database and Laure Marsac.  Michael Keaton in The 13th Warrior?  That would’ve been good.  In fact, a McT/Keaton team up would’ve been downright awesome, especially in that movie.

The film is on Blu-Ray, by the way.  Released in Germany, but with English audio as well.  There’s a special edition out there.  I think everyone who writes here at the site has picked up the German Blu.
