‘3 Fast’… More Accurate Now Than Ever

This parody clip is an old one. From the earlier days of the internet, it came online after 2 Fast 2 Furious jumped all types of sharks, in the wrong ways.  Clearly, a parody of what was to come.

Although the third movie settled things down again and stuck to basic racing like the first, this clip was actually remarkably prescient.  As one YouTube commentator observes:

Spoiler alert (not major): Furious 7 has several of these elements, including: crashing through skyscrapers, swapping from inside a car to inside another car while in motion, Tyrese Gibson, and cars flying. Therefore I declare copyright infringement in favor of Mr. Henton, who clearly inspired Furious 7. XD

Right!  The funny thing is though, Vin Diesel is the only one taking the whole thing seriously.  Playing it straight as a rod and letting the whole business get inside his head.

Whoever was originally behind 3 Thrast needs to make a sequel for the ninth movie.  And keep the animation, don’t get too flashy.
