Work (pre-production) has reportedly begun on John Wick Chapter 3 with casting to commence after Christmas, reports Omega Underground.
Lionsgate set a May 17th 2019 release date for a third film in the series with production now aiming for a Spring start, after the second movie (reviewed here) took more five times its budget.
Derak Kolstad’s script is reportedly complete, though whether sequences take place in Jerusalem and Tokyo as star Keanu Reeves has previously hinted at is not clear. Neither is who will officially direct with the first film’s co-director and second film’s solo director Chad Stahelski currently serving as ‘prep director’ on this entry.
