Sensei Johnny Trains His New Students

Pain and fear do not exist in Sensei Johnny’s dojo, in this new teaser for Cobra Kai.  It’s the place where fat soy boys go to get whooped into shape.

Set thirty years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, the series focuses on Johnny Lawrence reopening the Cobra Kai dojo, which causes his rivalry with Daniel LaRusso, who now owns a string of car dealerships, to be reignited.

What I’m really hoping for here is at least a cameo from Sensei Kreese or Sensei Silver.

The show was created by Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald and stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka.  Each episode will last 30 minutes and will debut on YouTube Red later in the year.
