Creed II Filming At 12 Monkeys Prison

Filming for Creed II is still underway, which I have a feeling is going to be better than the first.  Lately, they’re converting an old prison into a movie set, apparently for a 1980’s Soviet prison.  Phil Nobile Jr. added the following to Twitter.

Overheard: The CREED II production is filming inside the historic Eastern State Penitentiary, converting a section into a 1980s-set bar located behind the Iron Curtain. #Creed2 pic.twitter.com/1O7N7R9lyt

It could either be a flashback for Ivan Drago, or perhaps for the current day release of his son, Viktor, played by Florian Munteanu.  This is of course the prison once used in 12 Monkeys.

Also, Cuff and Link will return to the series!  Rocky’s turtles.  They’re alive and well.
