It looks like the first producers have come aboard The Expendables 4. Christa Campbell and Lati Grobman, coming off Rambo: Last Blood, have told GritDaily:
“We got a strong start with Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D unexpectedly beating some more high profile movies at the box office upon the opening. After that, we went on to make more dramatic and light hearted films as well (She’s Funny That Way). We also continue to make action films because we are able to reach a broader audience. We are currently working on The Expendables 4 and The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard.”
It’s not much news, other than to suggest that wheels are turning on the film. Also keep in mind that the last movie had around 16 producers (IIRC). Asked about women’s issues in Hollywood, they didn’t seem to get overtly political, which is good.
