NEWS: BUTLER IN 4TH ‘FALLEN’, MOSUL, BRUNO

MOSUL

Check out the trailer for upcoming action/thriller Mosul. It is produced by the Russo brothers and directed by Michael Carnahan.

It follows a true story of heroism in the face of overwhelming odds, as it follows a group of brave men who fight to take back control of their homes, families and city from ISIS. After inexperienced Iraqi cop Kawa (Adam Bessa) is rescued from a harrowing firefight by the elite Nineveh SWAT team, he’s quickly inducted into the rogue squadron, a band of ten brothers-in-arms led by the wise Major Jasem (Suhail Dabbach). Under constant threat of attack, the unit embarks on a dangerous guerrilla operation, determined to wipe out an enemy base and restore order to the lawless territory.

I think it’s time Russia made an ISIS movie, since their movie industry is growing quickly and their attack chopper pilots and Spetznaz were probably the real heroes in unblocking the ISIS drain in Syria, where the nub of the problem was.

NIGHT HAS FALLEN

Gerard Butler is returning for a fourth in the ‘Fallen’ series.

Robert Kamen will write while Ric Roman Waugh will return to direct Night Has Fallen.  Butler will also return in a producing role.  The movie is going to be filmed in Bulgaria, although that shouldn’t surprise anyone, they kinda filmed the first three on a budget.

It’s a decent series, so this should be one to keep an eye on.

BREACH

Here is the trailer for Breach, starring Bruce Willis.  Regardless of whether or not the movie is going to be any good, we can hear what amounts to some agitated booing coming from the YouTube upload.  An unhealthy dislike ratio and some are displeased with the production values;

They didn’t even finish rendering the muzzle flashes!

Fleeing a devastating plague on Earth, an interstellar ark comes under attack from a new threat; a shape-shifting alien force intent on slaughtering what is left of humanity.  I’m sorry but this could be inadvertently hilarious.

It will be available in theaters and On Demand and digital on December 18, 2020, with another, separate Walter_B VOD’er also set in space coming soon after.

Excited?
