MORTAL KOMBAT’S FAKE VOTES

Well it looks like this is turning into a full blown series on this site.  Keeping track of the ’10/10 Fairy’ that appears to visit certain movies listed on the IMDb, it looks to have paid a visit to the new Mortal Kombat movie.

After reading Shadow’s review and thinking about how he noticed fake user reviews on the IMDb for the movie, I decided to check the vote.  This is from the cached version (i.e. earlier votes):

Gee, would you look at that.   Despite having only been released in certain territories, mostly in places that don’t use the IMDb and with feedback calling the movie the drizzling shits, most felt compelled to give it the highest possible score of 10/10.

Here is today’s updated vote.

… 10/10 loses out to 7/10, but only by 1.1%.  With another eager 3,000 votes giving the movie the best possible score.

But who knows.  Maybe it’s all just a coincidence.
