TRAILER: THE ICE ROAD (2021)

Here is the trailer for manly new movie The Ice Road, starring Liam Neeson.  18 wheelers going sideways… what’s not to like?

Synopsis: After a remote diamond mine collapses in the far northern regions of Canada, an ice driver leads an implausible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the lives of trapped miners despite thawing waters and a threat they never see coming.

It’s been a while since we’ve had a good truck ’em up movie.  This one, directed by Jonathan Hensleigh, looks like it might actually use quite a few practical effects.  Hensleigh, you might remember, is the director of The Punisher (Thomas Jane) and Kill the Irishman.

This one, released on Netflix on June 25th, could be one to keep an eye on…
