NEW MANLY MOVIES REVEALED IN VMI SLATE

Synopsis: In the last days of WWII, Germany, desperate for any last grasp to defeat the allied powers, looked to their last remaining weapons and soldiers. The German Navy and the last remaining U-Boats, were formed together for one last mission to attack the United States Homeland. Captain Hans Kessler (Lundgren) a grizzled submarine commander from both world wars, is called into service to help turn the tide of the war. The mission was soon to be known as Operation Seawolf.

WANDER

Aaron Ekchart, Tommy Lee Jones and Heather Graham star in this upcoming thriller, Wander.  Directed by April Mullen, the movie has an as yet unspecified release date.

Synopsis: Arthur Bretnik is a conspiracy theorist and private eye with a traumatic past. After being hired to investigate a possible murder cover up in the small town of Wander, Arthur is plunged into a world of lies and deceit, as he quickly suspects the murder may be part of the same ‘conspiracy cover up’ that caused the death of his daughter. Increasingly paranoid, Arthur’s sanity is tested as he attempts to filter fact from fiction and solve the case, all the while questioning if he is a pawn in a much bigger game.

GRAND ISLE

There is barely any keeping up with Nicolas Cage movies, as we’ll see.  Does the man do anything but work?  Kelsey Grammer joins Cage for Grand Isle…

Synopsis: Walter Franklin (Cage) lives alone with his wife Fancy in a Victorian house on a quiet island in Louisiana. Walter is awoken in the middle of the night by a home invader, he swiftly guns down the invader but destroys his fence in the process. Walter hires Buddy (Benward), to quickly fix his fence but the job is put on hold when a ferocious hurricane strikes trapping Buddy at the Franklins’ residence. The night takes an expected turn and Walter is forced to frame Buddy for murder. When Detective Jones (Grammer) is brought in to lead the extensive investigation he soon exposes the true identity and intentions of the conspirators.

ARKANSAS

Visitors of this site will undoubtedly be a fan of this man, Vince Vaughn, as such will be interested to know of his latest project.  He’ll star alongside John Malkovich and Liam Hemsworth in Arkansas.
