A Tremors Remake Is In The Works

A Tremors remake is in the works.  I guess this could be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it.  It’s Tremors, but it’s a remake and is being made by Don Michael Paul.  Paul revealed via his blog:

After I finish up “Company Of Heroes: The Fourth Reich” I will be headed to Johannesburg, South Africa to reboot the “Tremors” franchise for Universal. Big year ahead and I’m excited to keep it going with the support of all you genre movie lovers out there.

Don Michael Paul… for the unaware, is a director whose most recent movie has been Jarhead 2: Field Of Fire.  So either this will be a small movie or a big break for Don Michael Paul.  Paul actually has another sequel out this year, Sniper 5, which is set in Syria with Tom Berenger.
